Pulley and Final Ratio

Has anyone changed the Final Ratio with a smaller pulley? I would like to get a different pulley to decrease the rpm on the highway a bit.
I think this can only be done by a smaller rear pulley as there is no room for a bigger front one.
I know some people changed to chain, but I'd rather like to keep the beltdrive, chains are messy and I think beltdrive looks better anyway.
Anyone got any Ideas?
